NOVELTY - A graphene-based protein adsorption sponge is prepared by subjecting graphene or graphene oxide as basic carrier to ion-modification process to reach protein adsorption function, where the type of modifying group is divided into strong acid type including sulfonic acid, weak acid type including carboxylic acid, strong base type including tertiary amine and weak base type including secondary amine and primary amine. The protein adsorption sponge is present in the shape of sponge-like three-dimensional material. USE - The graphene-based protein adsorption sponge is useful as chromatography column filler or made into monolithic column (claimed). ADVANTAGE - The graphene-based protein adsorption sponge has high mechanical performance, and can prevent partial agglomeration and blockage of chromatographic column mesh during the process of protein adsorption.
