NOVELTY - Preparing graphene material comprises (a) mixing chitosan, activator, acetic acid and solvent, stirring to a gel state, and then adding cross-linking agent for performing cross-linking reaction to obtain paste precursor, and (b) drying the paste precursor, activating in an alkaline solution, and then carbonizing after drying. USE - The method is useful for preparing graphene material. ADVANTAGE - The method: is simple, easy to control, and is suitable for large-scale production; can improve the specific surface area and conductivity of the graphene material; and can improve the specific capacitance and rate characteristics of the graphene material. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is also included for super capacitor comprising an electrode, where the electrode active material of the electrode is graphene material.
