NOVELTY - Graphene-basalt fiber reinforced copper-based graphite motor carbon brush comprises 1-2 pts. wt. carbon nano spheres, 12-20 pts. wt. natural crystalline flake graphite powder, 3-5 pts. wt. nano-copper powder, 30-40 pts. wt. copper powder, 1-2 pts. wt. zinc alloy powder, 0.3-0.5 pts. wt. graphene oxide, 1-2 pts. wt. basalt fiber, 30-40 pts. wt. yttrium sol, tris-hydrochloride buffer solution (specific amount), 2-3 pts. wt. dopamine hydrochloride, 50-60 pts. wt deionized water, and hydrazine hydrate (specific amount). USE - Used as graphene-basalt fiber reinforced copper-based graphite motor carbon brush. ADVANTAGE - The carbon brush: has excellent hardness, abrasion resistance, good electric performance and long service life; and is not easily flammable. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is also included for preparing the graphene-basalt fiber reinforced copper-based graphite motor carbon brush, comprising (i) taking deionized water into a reaction container, then adding dopamine hydrochloride and tris-hydrochloride buffer solution, stirring to dissolve it completely, and adjusting pH 8-8.5 to obtain dopamine solution, (ii) taking the dopamine solution and 30-40 pts. wt. flake graphite powder, stirring and uniformly mixing, allowing to stand for 36-48 hours, washing by water, filtering, and drying to obtain surface modified natural crystalline flake graphite spare, (iii) adding graphene oxide and basalt fiber into the remaining amount of dopamine solution, stirring and uniformly mixing, allowing to stand for 36-48 hours, filtering, casting into the hydrazine hydrate, reacting for 10-15 hours, filtering, using water for washing, and drying to obtain graphene load basalt fiber, and (iv) mixing surface modified natural crystalline flake graphite, graphene load basalt fiber spare and other residual materials for 2-3 hours, completely drying under pressure of 280-345 MPa, pressing by automatic press belt, then high-temperature sintering the blank under vacuum condition to obtain the carbon brush material.
