NOVELTY - Manufacture of graphene/graphitic carbon nitride composite photocatalyst involves adding melamine to graphitic carbon nitride, heating at high temperature, acidifying using concentrated hydrochloric acid, performing Hummers method, forming oxidized graphite solution with high specific surface area, ultrasonically-dispersing graphite oxide, centrifuging, extracting, drying to obtain graphene oxide powder, mixing graphene oxide powder and graphitic carbon nitride using high-energy ball mill, adding hydrazine hydrate, and stirring. USE - Manufacture of graphene/graphitic carbon nitride composite photocatalyst used in wastewater treatment and gas purification (claimed). ADVANTAGE - The graphene/graphitic carbon nitride composite photocatalyst is manufactured efficiently and economically with high photocatalytic activity, by simple method.
