NOVELTY - Preparing hydrophilic branch and C18 modified magnetic graphene material involves soaking 400-600 mg graphene in 50-70 mL concentrated nitric acid and placed at 50-70 degrees C in water bath for 6-10 hours to obtain mixed solution. The obtained mixed solution is centrifuged, separated, washed with deionized water to obtain neutralized solution. The obtained neutralized solution is dried at 40-60 degrees C to obtain acidified graphene. The 400-500 mg iron(III) chloride hexahydrate is mixed with 40-60 mL ethylene glycol to obtain yellow transparent solution. USE - Method for preparing hydrophilic branch and C18 modified magnetic graphene material (claimed). ADVANTAGE - The method enables to prepare hydrophilic branch and C18 modified magnetic graphene material, which has good repeatability and high stability. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - Preparing hydrophilic branch and C18 modified magnetic graphene material involves soaking 400-600 mg graphene in 50-70 mL concentrated nitric acid and placed at 50-70 degrees C in water bath for 6-10 hours to obtain mixed solution. The obtained mixed solution is centrifuged, separated, washed with deionized water to obtain neutralized solution. The obtained neutralized solution is dried at 40-60 degrees C to obtain acidified graphene. The 400-500 mg iron(III) chloride hexahydrate is mixed with 40-60 mL ethylene glycol to obtain yellow transparent solution. The obtained acidified graphene is soaked in the obtained yellow transparent solution in mass ratio of 150-200 mg:40-60 mL for 2.0 hours to obtain mixed solution. The obtained mixed solution is mixed with trisodium citrate, sodium acetate and polyethylene glycol in mass ratio of (150-180 mg): (1.5-2.0 g):(1.0-1.5 g) for 1.0-1.5 hours to obtain mixed solution. The obtain mixed solution is transferred into a hydrothermal reactor and heated at 180-220 degrees C for 8-10 hours to obtain heated mixed solution. The obtained heated mixed solution is cooled at room temperature and the mixed solution is separated by magnetic and washed with deionized water and absolute ethanol to remove excess raw material to obtained washed mixed solution. The obtained mixed solution is dried at 40-60 degrees C to obtain magnetic graphene material. The obtained magnetic graphene material is modified with an amino group and a C18 long chain, and the product is denoted as mag/NH2 or C18, which is modified with a polymer polyamide-amine to obtain the desired product.
