▎ 摘  要

NOVELTY - Preparing carbon electrode complex material comprises obtaining a surface-activated carbon material, mixing the surface-activated carbon material with a solution of a metal catalyst precursor, hydrolyzing and drying to obtain a carbon complex material loaded with metal oxides under an inert atmosphere, carrying out carbon thermal reaction on the carbon complex material, and cooling to obtain a carbon electrode complex material. The carbon electrode complex material includes a porous carbon material and metal carbide coated in the pores of the porous carbon material. USE - The method is useful for preparing carbon electrode complex material, which is useful in secondary battery including flow battery, a lithium-ion battery, a fuel cell, and a hydrogen battery, and flow battery includes an all-vanadium flow battery, an iron-chromium flow battery, and a vanadium-air flow battery, and carbon electrode complex material is applied in the cathode of the secondary battery (all claimed). ADVANTAGE - The method enables to prepare carbon electrode complex material, which improves the active specific surface area of the electrode, the catalytic activity and stability of electrode, and improves the power density and cycle life of the battery. The metal catalyst connected by chemical bond is very firm and strong anti-scouring performance, avoiding the metal catalyst to be washed away by flowing electrolyte in the operation process of battery, and improving the circulation stability of battery; and the metal carbide is distributed uniformly in the carbon material, and the grain diameter is small. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - INDEPENDENT CLAIMS are also included for: carbon electrode complex material prepared by above the mentioned method comprising porous carbon material and metal carbides coated in the pores of the porous carbon material; and econdary battery comprising electrode of the secondary battery contains the carbon electrode complex material, or the carbon electrode complex material.
