NOVELTY - Preparing visible light responsive cadmium thioindate-graphene composite photocatalyst comprises e.g. ultrasonic dispersing graphite oxide in reducing desulfurization solvent, dissolving and stirring cadmium sulfate and indium chloride in reducing desulfurization solvent, taking dispersion liquid and mixture, mixing, adding thioacetamide and stirring, transferring reaction system into the hydrothermal kettle and carrying out solvo-thermal reaction, adding obtained product into a vacuum device and carrying out suction filtration, using deionized water for washing, and vacuum drying. USE - The catalyst is used in solar energy conversion area, comprising photocatalytic hydrogen production from water, and carbon dioxide photocatalytic reduction (claimed). ADVANTAGE - The catalyst uses graphene as carrier. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - Preparing visible light responsive cadmium thioindate-graphene composite photocatalyst comprises (i) ultrasonic dispersing graphite oxide in reducing desulfurization solvent, (ii) dissolving and stirring cadmium sulfate and indium chloride in reducing desulfurization solvent, (iii) taking step (i) prepared dispersion liquid and step (ii) prepared mixture, mixing, adding thioacetamide and stirring, (iv) transferring step (iii) reaction system into the hydrothermal kettle and carrying out solvo-thermal reaction, and (v) adding step (iv) product into a vacuum device and carrying out suction filtration, using deionized water for washing, and vacuum drying to obtain composite photocatalyst. An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is also included for a visible light responsive cadmium thioindate-graphene composite photocatalyst, prepared according to the above mentioned method.
