▎ 摘 要
NOVELTY - A patterned magnetic graphene is formed by transferring or growing graphene film on a substrate, functionalizing graphene film, hydrogenating to form fully hydrogenated graphene, manipulating the extent of hydrogen content, and forming areas of magnetic graphene and non-magnetic graphene. USE - Formation of patterned magnetic graphene for high density data storage application. ADVANTAGE - The method provides for highly uniform ultra-thin ferromagnetic film that appears not to have grain boundaries. By locally controlling the extent of hydrogenation, the film can be readily patterned. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is included for uniform ferromagnetic graphene film which has thickness of less than or equal to 2 atom layers thick. DESCRIPTION OF DRAWING(S) - The drawing shows a schematic diagram of Birch reduction process, illustrating electron beam dehydrogenation of partially hydrogenated graphene (pHG).
