▎ 摘  要

NOVELTY - A sepiolite-graphene oxide/chitosan composite gel sphere comprises chitosan gel spheres as a base, and sepiolite and graphene oxide dispersed in the chitosan gel spheres. The mass ratio of the total content of sepiolite and graphene oxide to the content of chitosan is not more than 1:2. USE - Sepiolite-graphene oxide/chitosan composite gel sphere used as adsorbent in treatment of wastewater of cationic dye e.g. methylene blue (all claimed). ADVANTAGE - The composite gel sphere contains chitosan gel spheres having improved adsorption performance due to doping of sepiolite and graphene oxide. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is included for preparation of the composite gel sphere, which involves dissolving chitosan in an acid solution, adding sepiolite-graphene oxide, stirring to obtain a mixed solution of sepiolite-graphene oxide/chitosan, and dripping the mixed solution into excess alkaline solution to fully gel the chitosan.
