NOVELTY - Method for preparing modified asphalt, involves uniformly mixing graphene oxide with polymer in grinding manner, attaching portion of graphene oxide particles to surface of polymer to obtain composite modifier, adding composite modifier to asphalt in molten state, shearing obtained mixture and uniformly stirring at a first temperature, performing thermal insulation development process at second temperature, so that at least portion of polymer forms cross-linking structure, and jointly combining at least portion of asphalt and polymer on surface of graphene oxide to obtain modified asphalt. USE - Method for preparing modified asphalt (claimed). ADVANTAGE - The method ensures modified asphalt material with high and low temperature performance, excellent storage stability performance and anti-aging performance, solves the shortcomings of single-phase asphalt modified materials, and improves comprehensive performance. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is included for a modified asphalt comprising graphene oxide and polymer composite modified asphalt, and comprising asphalt phase, polymer phase and graphene oxide, and jointly combining portion of asphalt and polymer on surface of graphene oxide, inserting portion of asphalt molecules to graphene oxide sheet layer to form intercalation asphalt at a certain depth, and peeling off portion of graphene oxide by asphalt, and distributing stripped graphene oxide in asphalt phase, or a modified asphalt comprising graphene oxide and polymer composite modified asphalt, and is provided with according to softening point determined by T0606-2011 in JTJE 20-2011 at 68-75 degrees C, the difference between top softening point and bottom softening point is less than or equal to 1.8 degrees C, determining delay at 5 degrees C according to T0605-2011 in JTJE 20-2011 is 205-250 mm, and delaying at 5 degrees C after aging measured according to T0610-2011 in JTJE 20-2011 is 30-40 mm.
