NOVELTY - Manufacture of hollow graphene ball involves (i) dispersing a transition metal powder having diameter of 1-3 mu m in polyhydric alcohol and performing primary polymerization, performing secondary polymerization by dispersing the primary polymerized transition metal powder in saccharides, forming a transition metal graphene powder by heat-treating the secondary polymerized transition metal powder at 400-600 degrees C, and forming a hollow graphene ball by etching the transition metal graphene powder. USE - Manufacture of hollow graphene ball (claimed) for dry powder plating to impart electromagnetic shielding properties. ADVANTAGE - The method produces high-quality hollow graphene ball having larger particle and does not crumple graphene by electrostatic attraction.
