NOVELTY - Preparing nickel-graphene super-hydrophobic coating, comprises using a metal substrate as a cathode and nickel as an anode, electroplating in a plating solution, vacuum drying, and obtaining a nickel-graphene super-hydrophobic coating on the surface of the metal substrate, where the plating solution includes nickel chloride and graphene oxide, the concentration of graphene oxide in the plating solution is 0.05-0.3 g/l, the concentration of nickel chloride in the plating solution is 210-260 g/l, the current density of the electroplating is 30-60 mA/cm2, the vacuum drying time is ≥ 14 days; the low surface energy substance modification is not performed after the electroplating is completed. USE - The method is useful for preparing nickel-graphene super-hydrophobic coating. ADVANTAGE - The method provides nickel-graphene super-hydrophobic coating with high corrosion resistance. The method does not need further chemical modification, which can be prepared to obtain the coating.
