NOVELTY - Graphene aerogel modification process comprises (i) orderly adding reducing agent and modifying agent into graphene oxide dispersion liquid, and reacting at 85-95 degrees C for 6-10 hours to obtain graphene hydrogel, where the modifying agent is silica precursor, preferably tetraethyl orthosilicate, sodium silicate and/or potassium silicate, (ii) washing the prepared graphene hydrogel, and placing in aqueous alcohol solution for dialysis treatment for 4-6 hours, and (iii) freeze-drying the graphene hydrogel after the dialysis treatment. USE - The modified graphene aerogel is useful in adsorption of benzene series gas (claimed). DETAILED DESCRIPTION - An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is also included for modified graphene aerogel prepared by above method.
