NOVELTY - Device comprises console (1), power supply I (2), power supply II (3), electrolytic cell I (4), electrolytic cell II (5), lifter, suction pump, cooling tank, GO recoverer and sulfuric acid recovery tank. The output of the console is connected to power supply I, and power supply II. The input terminals of the lifter and the suction pump are connected. The lift is provided with anode I and electrolytic cell I with concentrated sulfuric acid and cathode. The electrolytic cell II is provided with diluted sulfuric acid and cathode. The anode of the power source I is connected to the anode I on the lift through a wire. The cathode of the power source I is connected to the cathode of the electrolytic cell I through wire. The anode of the power source II is connected to the anode I on the lift through wire. The cathode of the power source II is connected to the cathode of the electrolytic cell II through wire. USE - The device is useful for preparing graphene oxide by electrolytic oxidation (claimed). ADVANTAGE - The device: recycles electrolyte; contains GO production device which does not generate any heavy metal ion and other harmful substance; and is suitable for amplifying different degree of design according to the production scale. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is also included for preparing graphene oxide by electrolytic oxidation comprising (i) carrying out electrochemical intercalation of graphite raw materials in electrolytic cell I using concentrated sulfuric acid as electrolyte at low voltage, (ii) controlling intercalated graphite raw material to remove concentrated sulfuric acid, performing electrochemical oxidation at high voltage in electrolytic cell II using diluted sulfuric acid as electrolyte to obtain graphene oxide sheet layer, and (iii) adopting use of fluid-driven device to extract electrolyte in the electrolytic cell II, cooling, filtering and recovering electrolyte, and washing filtered graphene oxide sheet to obtain final product graphene oxide.
