NOVELTY - Preparation of dibromomannitol comprises adding sulfate/titanium dioxide-doped graphene oxide solid super acid catalyst to mixed solvent of bromide ion and polar solvent, adding hydrobromic acid solution and mannitol, brominating, standing, layering, separating 1-propyl-3-propylimidazolium hexafluorophosphate solid super acid layer and product layer, washing product layer with water to neutral, draining to obtain crude dibromomannitol, immersing in ethanol for more than 0.1 hour, draining, vacuum drying at low temperature, and crystallizing. USE - Method for preparing dibromomannitol. ADVANTAGE - The method has low cost, simple operation, and high safety and is environment-friendly.
