▎ 摘  要

NOVELTY - Producing graphene, comprises: introducing a solution of a metal alkoxide in a solvent into a decomposition apparatus, where the decomposition apparatus includes a first region having a sufficiently high temperature to cause thermal decomposition of the metal alkoxide, to produce graphene. USE - The process is useful to produce graphene including graphene powder (claimed). ADVANTAGE - The process: produces graphene in high yield; can be implemented as a continuous process; can be implemented using available spray injection chemical vapor deposition technology; provides both films and powders of graphene; provides easy isolation of graphene produced, since the metal carbonate and the metal hydroxide byproducts are water soluble; is inexpensive, since the reagents used are readily available and inexpensive; and is relatively quick and simple. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is also included for a process for producing graphene, comprising introducing at least a first reagent and a second reagent into a first region of a decomposition apparatus, where the first and second reagents react to produce a metal alkoxide, and the first region has a sufficiently high temperature to cause thermal decomposition of the metal alkoxide to produce graphene.
