NOVELTY - Preparing magnetic amphiphilic graphene oxide nanoparticles comprises (1) obtaining graphene oxide-iron(III) oxide, where the structure of graphene oxide-iron(III) oxide is graphene oxide wrapped iron(III) oxide, and (2) adding the solution containing alkylamine to the dispersion containing graphene oxide-iron(III) oxide and reacting to obtain the magnetic amphiphilic graphene oxide nanoparticles. USE - The magnetic amphiphilic graphene oxide nanoparticle is useful in wastewater treatment (claimed). ADVANTAGE - The method: combines graphene oxide with magnetic nanoparticles; modifies one side of graphene to be lipophilic; serves the magnetic nanoparticles as both a carrier and a template; and realizes the recovery and separation. The nanoparticles: has good adsorptivity, hydrophilic and lipophilic properties. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is also included for magnetic amphiphilic graphene oxide nanoparticles.
