▎ 摘 要
NOVELTY - The apparatus has a sensor (5) arranged to detect electromagnetic radiation (9), and comprising two-dimensional material. The sensor is mounted on a transparent substrate (3), where a reflective surface (11) is arranged to reflect electromagnetic radiation that is passed through the transparent substrate onto the sensor. The sensor comprises one of a FET, and a quantum dot functionalized graphene FET, where the FET is arranged such that a first electrode is enclosed by a second electrode. Sensors are associated with a different reflective surface. USE - Apparatus for sensing electromagnetic radiation using a two dimensional material i.e. graphene by a sensing device (claimed), for use as detectors and/or photovoltaic devices. ADVANTAGE - The apparatus selects size of the sensors based on an optimization between surface areas needed to detect reflected electromagnetic radiation, thus reducing an amount of noise within signal. The sensor is the same shape as the reflective surface to enable electromagnetic radiation to be detected more efficiently. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is also included for a method for sensing electromagnetic radiation using a two dimensional material. DESCRIPTION OF DRAWING(S) - The drawing shows a schematic view of an electromagnetic radiation incident on an apparatus.
