NOVELTY - Graphene composite lithium iron phosphate anode material for preparing lithium ion battery, comprises graphene and lithium iron phosphate, where graphene content in graphene composite lithium iron phosphate anode material is 0.05-10 wt.%, preferably 0.1-3 wt.%. The average size of graphene is 100 nanometer-200 micrometer, preferably 500 nanometer-100 micrometer. The thickness of the graphene is 1-20 nanometer, preferably 1-5 nanometer. USE - Graphene composite lithium iron phosphate anode material for preparing lithium ion battery (claimed). ADVANTAGE - The graphene composite lithium iron phosphate anode material is simple and controllable, has low cost, good mass production, excellent conductivity, multiplying power performance, circulation performance and low temperature performance, and improves performance of lithium ion battery. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is included for a method for preparing graphene composite lithium iron phosphate anode material, which involves: (A) mixing lithium source, iron source, phosphorus source and carbon source with sulfonated graphene to form precursor; and (B) treating precursor in inert atmosphere at 600-800 degrees C, preferably 650-750 degrees C for 2-8 hours, preferably 4-8 hours, and cooling to obtain graphene composite lithium iron phosphate anode material.
