NOVELTY - Preparing reduced graphene oxide -cerium/ tungsten trioxide (RGO-Ce / WO3) nanosheet modified carbon fibers (CF) material comprises (i) dissolving tungstate in distilledwater, stirring at room temperature 20-25 degrees C for 10-30 minutes to obtain solution B1, adding cerium salt to absolute ethanol, stirring at 20-25 degrees C for 10-30 minutes to obtain a solution B2, mixing solution B1 and solution B2 uniformly to obtain a solution B, where the ratio of the cerium salt in the B2 solution and tungstate in the B1 solution is (0.01-0.10):1; (ii) adding hydrochloric acid solution having a concentration of 2 -3 mol/l dropwise under continuous stirring conditions, stirring, adding solution having a concentration of 3-5 mmol/l, adding ammonium sulfate solution, stirring for 10-30 minutes based on the amount of substance; (iii) immersing CF in the solution for 10-30 minutes, taking out the CF after soaking and calcining at 180 degrees C for 24 hours and naturally cooling to room temperature of 20-25 degrees C. USE - The method is useful for preparing reduced graphene oxide -cerium/ tungsten trioxide nanosheet modified carbon fibers material. ADVANTAGE - The method prevents the increase in electron transfer resistance and the coverage of the exposed active sites on the surface. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is also included for RGO-Ce/WO3 nanosheet modified CF material prepared as mentioned above. Preparing reduced graphene oxide -cerium/ tungsten trioxide (RGO-Ce / WO3) nanosheet modified carbon fibers (CF) material comprises (i) dissolving tungstate in distilledwater, stirring at room temperature 20-25 degrees C for 10-30 minutes to obtain solution B1, adding cerium salt to absolute ethanol, stirring at 20-25 degrees C for 10-30 minutes to obtain a solution B2, mixing solution B1 and solution B2 uniformly to obtain a solution B, where the ratio of the cerium salt in the B2 solution and tungstate in the B1 solution is (0.01-0.10):1 based on the amount of the substance and dissolving graphene oxide in distilled water and sonicating for 1-2 hours to form a suspension to obtain solution A, mixing the solution A and the solution B uniformly, stirring for 10-30 minutes to obtain a precursor solution, where the mass of cerium and tungsten trioxide in the solution B is M1 and the ratio of the mass of graphene oxide in the solution A and M1 is (0.05-1): 1; (ii) adding hydrochloric acid solution having a concentration of 2 -3 mol/l dropwise under continuous stirring conditions, stirring for 10-30 minutes, adding solution having a concentration of 3-5 mmol/l, adding ammonium sulfate solution, stirring for 10-30 minutes based on the amount of substance, where the mass ratio of precursor solution, hydrochloric acid substance in the hydrochloric acid solution and ammonium sulfate substance in the ammonium sulfate solution is 80:3:0.035; (iii) immersing CF in the solution for 10-30 minutes, taking out the CF after soaking and calcining at 180 degrees C for 24 hours and naturally cooling to room temperature of 20-25 degrees C, where the CF is pretreated by immersing CF in hydrogen peroxide solution at 60-100 degrees C for 2-3 hours, and then immersing in hydrochloric acid solution having a concentration of 8-10 wt.% at 60-100 degrees C for 1-2 hours and rinsing with distilled water and drying at 50-70 degrees C.
