▎ 摘　　要

NOVELTY - A roofing system comprises an adhesive formulation coated on at least one surface of a roofing substrate. The adhesive formulation comprises 0.5- 30 wt.% polymer(s), 20 - 70 wt.% process oil(s) and 10 -wt.% tackifier(s). The tackifier(s) is different from the process oil(s). The adhesive formulation is free of asphalt or substantially free of asphalt. The polymer(s) comprises styrene-butadiene-styrene (SBS) copolymer(s), a styrene-ethylene-butylene-styrene (SEBS) copolymer(s) and/or ground tire rubber (GTR). USE - Roofing system is used as sealants for roofing shingles. ADVANTAGE - The roofing system containing adhesive formulation is free of asphalt or substantially free of asphalt, and does not require elevated temperatures for activation, making their use effective in all circumstances. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is included for the method using an adhesive formulation for preparing roofing system, which involves: 1) obtaining a roofing substrate; 2) obtaining an adhesive formulation; and 3) applying the adhesive formulation to at least one surface of the roofing substrate.
