▎ 摘  要

NOVELTY - Composition comprising functionalized styrene butadiene polymer and graphene, comprises: (i) 45-90 parts per hundred of rubber (phr) at least one conjugated diene monomer; (ii) 10-40 phr at least one vinyl substituted aromatic monomer; (iii) 1-50 phr at least one polar comonomer comprising acrylate, propoxylate and/or sulfonate; and (iv) 0.5-5.0 phr graphene. USE - The composition is useful in a tire tread (claimed). ADVANTAGE - The composition: exhibits improved dynamic, physical, mechanical and rheological properties; and has rolling resistance, abrasion resistance and wet grip. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is also included for preparing the composition, comprising polymerizing conjugated diene monomer, vinyl substituted aromatic monomer and polar comonomer to obtain the functionalized styrene butadiene polymer latex, optionally coagulating the functionalized styrene butadiene polymer latex to obtain the functionalized styrene butadiene polymer rubber, and adding graphene to obtain the composition, where the graphene is added either prior to, during or post preparation of the functionalized styrene butadiene polymer latex or rubber.
