NOVELTY - Preparing three-dimensional DUT-67/RGO aerogel photo-catalyst comprises (i) dissolving zirconium chloride in a mixed solution of N,N-dimethylformamide and N-methylpyrrolidone, adding 2,5-thiophenedicarboxylic acid to the above solution, ultrasonically treating, adding acetic acid, transferring the mixture to an autoclave lined with Teflon, and a white powder, namely DUT67 to obtain by a solvo-thermal reaction; (ii) uniformly dispersing the graphene oxide GO in deionized water to obtain a GO suspension; (iii) adding DUT-67 and ascorbic acid to the GO suspension, hydrothermally reacting, and freeze-drying. USE - The photocatalyst is useful for photocatalytic reduction of carbon-dioxide (claimed). ADVANTAGE - The method has multi-layer structure, which is very good for charge transfer and carbon dioxide/carbon monoxide mass transfer rate, at the same time, it is good for improving carbon dioxide adsorption/activation ability and effective transfer and consumption of photogenerated electron, DUT67/RGO shows obvious CO conversion and selectivity in the mild gas-solid reaction. The invention realizes the purpose of the DUT-67/RGO gas-gel composite photocatalyst high-efficiency and selective reduction of carbon dioxide as carbon monoxide.
