NOVELTY - Lubricating oil containing two kinds of carbonaceous additive comprises 99.985-99.99 wt.% castor oil, 0.0025-0.005 wt.% carbon nanotube and 0.0075-0.01 wt.% graphene oxide. USE - The lubricating oil is useful in some extremely harsh working condition, e.g. high voltage and heavy load. ADVANTAGE - The lubricating oil has excellent wear resistant and friction-reducing properties, effectively improved service life and lubricating service life, and is environmentally friendly. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is also included for preparing lubricating oil containing two kinds of carbonaceous additive comprising (i) adding carbon nanotubes, graphene oxide into a beaker, then adding 10 ml absolute ethanol, ultrasonic dispersing for 30 minutes in ultrasonic cleaning machine, and then uniformly dispersing the oxidized graphene and carbon nanotube in absolute ethyl alcohol, (ii) adding castor oil in beaker, ultrasonically dispersing for 30 minutes in the ultrasonic cleaning machine to obtain mixed solution of oil and carbon nanotubes and graphene oxide, and (iii) placing mixed solution prepared in step (ii) in water bath heater, heating at 45-50 degrees C on water bath for 8-12 hours, completely volatilizing ethanol in the mixed solution, adding mixed solution in the ultrasonic wave cleaning machine, and then ultrasonically dispersing for 30 minutes to obtain lubricating oil.
