NOVELTY - Modified graphene oxide is prepared by mixing graphene oxide dispersion with solution containing fatty amine and reacting to obtain modified graphene oxide, where solution containing fatty amine has fatty amine:solvent mass ratio of 1:100-1:10000; and mass ratio of graphene oxide in graphene oxide dispersion to solution containing fatty amine is 1:10-1:200. USE - Preparation of modified graphene oxide for use in petroleum extraction, environmental pollution treatment, electronic materials, batteries and hydrogen storage materials, heat dissipation materials, and coatings (all claimed). ADVANTAGE - By controlling the type of fatty amine, the mass ratio of the graphene oxide dispersion to the solution containing fatty amine, the reaction mode and reaction time, and the amount of grafting and grafting position such that fatty amine is selectively grafted, partially hydrophilic and partially lipophilic amphiphilic graphene oxide nanosheets can be obtained with a simple preparation process and high yield, which is suitable for large-scale production.
