NOVELTY - An energy-saving wear-resistant zirconium corundum composite hollow ball casting material comprises 60-70 pts. wt. zirconium corundum aggregate, 11-15 pts. wt. silicon carbide, 4-6 pts. wt. organic fibre, 4-6 pts. wt. silicon micro powder, 7-12 pts. wt. pure calcium aluminate cement, 1-2 pts. wt. water reducer and 1-3 pts. wt. additive. The zirconium corundum aggregate comprises 41.5-42.5 %mass zircon sand, 48.5-50.5 %mass aluminum oxide powder, 4-5.5 %mass zirconium oxide, 0.3-0.7 %mass sillimanite powder, 0.5-1.2 %mass graphene, and 0.2-1 %mass binder. USE - Energy-saving wear-resistant zirconium corundum composite hollow ball casting material used in blast furnace, hot air furnace, garbage incinerator and chemical cement applications. ADVANTAGE - The casting material has excellent thermal shock performance, strong wear resistance and high temperature resistance, and the raw material component proportion is simple and saving cost. The manufacturing process is simple. It reduces the cracking and peeling of the casting material by addition of organic fibre.
