NOVELTY - Micro-pore foaming ethylene propylene diene monomer (EPDM), comprises ethylene propylene diene monomer (EPDM), naphthenic oil, carbon black, silica, sulfur, accelerator diethylthiourea (DETU), accelerator zinc dibutyldithiocarbamate (ZDBC), zinc oxide, stearic acid, hair foaming agent superfines sodium bicarbonate particles and antioxidant 2,6-di-tert-butyl-p-cresol (BHT). USE - Used as micropore foaming ethylene propylene diene monomer. ADVANTAGE - The micro-pore foaming ethylene propylene diene monomer: can promote the formation of micron-level cell structures in the micro-pore foaming EPDM; has lower thermal conductivity than commercially available sodium bicarbonate foamed EPDM; and has better thermal insulation effect. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is also included for preparing micropore forming ethylene propylene diene monomer, comprising (i) adding EPDM, naphthenic oil, carbon black, white carbon black, zinc oxide, stearic acid, ultra-fine sodium bicarbonate particles, and antioxidant BHT to an internal mixer and mixing for 15 minutes, then adding sulfur, accelerator DETU, accelerator ZDBC and mixing for 5 minutes before discharging, and press tablet by open mill to obtain EPDM rubber film, and (ii) carrying out EPDM rubber film after extrusion molding-vulcanizing foaming technique to obtain micropore foarming EPDM material.
