NOVELTY - The preparation method of surface-coated polyacrylonitrile fiber involves dissolving polyacrylonitrile powder in solvent in a mass ratio of 20:80 and then stirring, adding aqueous ammonia to the mixture and then adjusting pH value to 7-8, adding 0.5-1 %mass spherical graphene oxide to the mixture and then stirring, adding acrylonitrile, acrylic acid and solvent in a ratio of 98:2:250 to the mixture and then mixing, adding 0.4 %mass azobisisobutyronitrile initiator to the mixture and then reacting at 60 degrees C for 10-24 hours and drying. USE - The method is useful for preparation of surface-coated polyacrylonitrile fiber. ADVANTAGE - The method enables preparation of surface-coated polyacrylonitrile fiber with excellent adhesion properties, static resistance, antibacterial properties and UV resistance.
