▎ 摘 要
NOVELTY - Method for synthesizing gold nanoparticles supported on cerium oxide nanosheet material involves (i) adding graphene oxide to water, uniformly and ultrasonically dispersing, adding cerium nitrate, stirring and processing, centrifuging to collect precipitate, and washing to obtain a precursor, (ii) adding the precursor to water, ultrasonically and uniformly dispersing to obtain a precursor dispersion, freezing with liquid nitrogen, freeze-drying to obtain a dried product, heating the dried product for calcination to obtain two-dimensional cerium oxide nanosheets, and (iii) adding polyvinyl alcohol solution and chloroauric acid solution to water, mixing well, adding sodium borohydride solution and mixing well to obtain a mixed solution, adding two-dimensional cerium oxide nanosheets to the mixed solution, stirring, filtering the precipitate, washing, and drying to obtain the product. USE - The method useful for synthesizing gold nanoparticles supported on cerium oxide nanosheet material in catalyzing oxidation reaction of carbon monoxide (all claimed). ADVANTAGE - The gold nanoparticles have a large specific surface area and a high concentration of cerium(III) ions which increase the concentration of oxygen vacancies on the surface of the cerium oxide, and exhibits excellent catalytic performance.
