NOVELTY - Preparing vinyl chloride synthesis catalyst with ruthenium-containing electroplating waste liquid, comprises (1) taking the ruthenium-containing electroplating waste solution, and adjusting its pH=7 to obtain the ruthenium-containing adjustment solution; (2) according to the mass ratio of ruthenium and guanidine hydrochloride is 0.1-0.5:8-20, adding guanidine hydrochloride to ruthenium-containing adjustment solution, and mixing evenly to obtain a mixed solution; and (3) adding the carrier into mixed solution for immersion, taking out the carrier and drying it to obtain a vinyl chloride synthesis catalyst. USE - The method is useful for preparing vinyl chloride synthesis catalyst with ruthenium-containing electroplating waste liquid. ADVANTAGE - The method: can realizes the reuse of waste ruthenium salt and the mercury-free operation of calcium carbide polyvinyl chloride.
