NOVELTY - Secondary battery comprises a positive electrode, a negative electrode, an electrolyte and a diaphragm, where the positive electrode comprises a positive electrode current collector and a positive electrode active layer located on the surface of the positive electrode current collector, the positive active layer comprises a positive active material, and the positive electrode active material comprises an organic electrode material and/or an inorganic electrode material having both anion and cation storage capabilities. USE - The secondary battery is used for electrical product such as mobile phone, computer, and electric vehicle (all claimed). ADVANTAGE - The positive electrode material in the secondary battery has anion and cation storage active sites, which widens voltage window of the secondary battery, and improves specific capacity, energy density and cycle performance of the secondary battery. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is included for a method for preparing the secondary battery, which involves preparing the positive electrode active material into a slurry, coating on the surface of the positive electrode current collector to form a positive electrode active layer to obtain the positive electrode, and assembling the positive electrode, the negative electrode, the electrolyte solution and the diaphragm to obtain the secondary battery.
