▎ 摘  要

NOVELTY - A composition of material comprises at least one atomic layer of graphene monoxide, in which at least a portion of oxygen molecule present in the graphene monoxide is incorporated into structures comprising chemical moieties. The chemical moieties are chosen from 1,3-dioxetane rings, 1,5-dioxa-cyclooctane rings, 1,4,7-trioxa-cyclononane rings, (3,5,8,10)-tetraoxa-(1,6)-cyclodecadiene rings and polycarbonyl chains. USE - Composition of material used for forming electrode for improving lithium-ion battery performance (all claimed). DETAILED DESCRIPTION - INDEPENDENT CLAIMS are included for the following: (1) charge-storage device, which comprises an electrode. The charge-storage device has a faster charge rate at 1 C or more than corresponding charge-storage device comprising graphite-only anode; and (2) method of improving lithium-ion battery performance, which involves replacing a pre-existing electrode in a lithium-ion battery with an electrode.
