NOVELTY - Light fenton heterogeneous composite catalyst comprises N-defect graphitic carbon nitride (g-C3N4)-x, reduced graphene, and heteropoly ferric acid. The reduced graphene is supported on the surface of N defect g-C3N4-x, and the heteropolyacid iron is supported on the reduced graphene surface. USE - Light fenton heterogeneous composite catalyst used in catalytic degradation of environmental pollutants (claimed). ADVANTAGE - The light fenton heterogeneous composite catalyst has high degradation efficiency for pollutants; the photo-Fenton heterogeneous composite catalyst does not need to add an additional organic reducing agent when used, and can effectively overcome the adverse effects of adding reducing reagents to the heterogeneous Fenton system. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is included for a method for preparing a photo-fenton heterogeneous composite catalyst, which involves mixing reduced graphene, water, ferric chloride and sodium dodecylphosphotungstate to perform a compound reaction to obtain a reduced graphene-supported heteropoly ferric acid complex, and mixing reduced graphene-supported heteropolyacid iron complex, N-defective g-C3N4-x, and water to self-assemble to obtain a photo-fenton heterogeneous composite catalyst.
