USE - Outdoor epoxy resin-based anti-ultraviolet aging insulating material for outdoor cables (claimed). ADVANTAGE - The composite material greatly improves comprehensive performance, and when the mass percentage of the filler is close to 60 wt.%, maintain performance of 80%, after 24 cycles of outdoor environment ultraviolet standard test, so that to meet the requirement of the market on ultraviolet aging resistance of outdoor insulation materials, and improves the service life and the application range of the outdoor insulation materials. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is included for a method for preparing the outdoor epoxy resin-based anti-ultraviolet aging insulating material, which involves: treating the epoxy resin by an oven to remove bubbles, and reducing the viscosity to 7000-8000 Mpa.s at 25℃; drying the inorganic micron particles, and dispersing the inorganic micron particles by ultrasonic vibration; dispersing functionalized graphene nanoplatelets in a certain amount of curing agent methyl tetrahydrophthalic anhydride, adding cerium dioxide and aluminum oxide with different shapes according to a proportion, simultaneously adding a silane coupling agent, mixing, and performing ultrasonic treatment for 30 minutes, where graphene nanoplatelets are adsorbed on the surface of the cerium dioxide/aluminum oxide to form a uniform suspension; adding the suspension into epoxy resin subjected to preheating treatment at 55-65℃, and adding the rest curing agent, dispersing agent, defoaming agent and anti-settling agent under the condition of continuous stirring; uniformly mixing, and performing vacuum defoaming treatment in a vacuum drying oven at 55-65℃; pouring the obtained slurry into a polytetrafluoroethylene mold preheated to 75-85℃, heating and curing in an oven at 130-135℃ for 6-8 hours, and naturally cooling the mold to room temperature to obtain the outdoor epoxy resin-based anti-ultraviolet aging insulating material.
