NOVELTY - Preparation of silica gel loaded with a hydrated salt phase change energy storage material involves generating silica sol from inorganic acid and silicate solution, colloid or turbid liquid, or low-salt silica sol with water as dispersant, making an aqueous solution of salt, adding a nucleating agent and a thermally conductive agent at the same time and fully dispersing to form a mixed solution, pouring the silica sol into the mixed solution and adjusting pH of the mixed solution to make the mixed solution gel, drying the gel under controlled temperature, and dissolving nano-silica with a strong base using degraded silica gel loaded with hydrated salt phase-change energy storage material to recover the phase-change material.
