NOVELTY - Graphene antibacterial agent comprises a fixing material and a hydroxyl modified graphene composite material, the fixing material is aqueous polymer resin, the hydroxyl modified graphene composite material comprises hydroxyl modified graphene, inorganic oxide and/or hydroxide; the inorganic oxide and/or hydroxide is attached to the surface of the hydroxyl modified graphene. USE - Graphene antibacterial agent used in fabric, metal, ceramic and plastic (claimed). ADVANTAGE - The graphene antibacterial agent can effectively fix the inorganic oxide and/or hydroxide, which can effectively inhibit the agglomeration of graphene, further improve the antibacterial effect. The fixing material can firmly adhere the hydroxyl modified graphene composite material on the surface of the substrate, forming a long-acting antibacterial layer, generating durable and stable antibacterial effect. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is included for a method for preparing of graphene antibacterial agent which involves: (1) adding hydrogen peroxide and concentrated hydrochloric acid into the graphene powder, stirring uniformly, reacting for 1-4 hours, washing to obtain hydroxyl modified graphene; (2) adding the hydroxyl modified graphene into water, mixing uniformly to obtain hydroxyl modified graphene dispersion liquid; (3) adding the metal salt into the hydroxyl modified graphene dispersion liquid, stirring uniformly, then adding precipitator solution for precipitation reaction, after finishing reaction, drying or calcining to obtain hydroxyl modified graphene composite material; and (4) adding water into the hydroxyl modified graphene composite material, aqueous polymer resin, grinding uniformly to obtain the graphene antibacterial agent, where the precipitant solution is a mixed solution of boric acid sodium carbonate and sodium hydroxide.
