NOVELTY - Female snap connector comprises base (124), cap (121) opposing the base, and socket (122) formed into the cap for receiving stud of co-operational male snap connector (150), which socket is configured to undergo elastic deformation to comply to the passage of the complementary shape of the stud within the socket during insertion and removal of the stud in the depth dimension of the female snap connector, external side for interaction with the male snap connector, and internal side opposing the external side, where base material of the female snap connector comprises conductive elastomer, and socket comprises relieved, bevelled, entrance surface provided to the cap on the external side, pinch connected to entrance surface, opening, the narrowest part defined by the pinch, and rim on the internal side surrounding the opening, and in that the female snap connector comprises peripheral recess between the rim and surrounding base for increasing flexibility of the socket. USE - Used as female snap connector. ADVANTAGE - The female snap connector: is elastic which facilitates yield of the socket to release the male snap connectors from the respective female snap connectors; and utilizes protective material which prevents the stud from coming into contact with the user's skin to maintain integrity of the electrode signal.
