NOVELTY - Graphene oxide/Santa Barbara amorphous (SBA)-15 composite material comprises covalently linked graphene oxide and SBA-15 of mass ratio 1:(5-20). USE - The graphene oxide/SBA-15 composite material is useful for selective adsorption of divalent lead ion (claimed). ADVANTAGE - The composite material has fast adsorbing property (claimed), is environmentally friendly and can be repeatedly used. The method solves the problem of separation of the graphene oxide solution. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is also included for preparing the graphene oxide/SBA-15 composite material, comprising performing condensation reaction of graphene oxide and SBA-15 modified with amino-terminal silane coupling agent in presence of a condensing agent, filtering reaction product, washing and drying.
