NOVELTY - Preparation of ceramic matrix composite involves oxidizing the surface of the carbon fiber, grafting graphene oxide on the surface of carbon fiber by silane coupling agent grafting method, immersing modified carbon fiber in polycarbosilane precursor solution by precursor impregnation cracking method, solidifying, and pyrolyzing. USE - Preparation of ceramic matrix composite. ADVANTAGE - The preparation of graphene oxide modified carbon fiber reinforced silicon carbide ceramic matrix composite can protect the carbon fiber from physical, and chemical damage, and improves the wettability with precursor solution, and interfacial bonding force between reinforcing material, and ceramic matrix which ensures efficient transfer of load between ceramic matrix, and fiber reinforcement, and increase the bonding interface between carbon fiber, and silicon carbide ceramic matrix.
