NOVELTY - Magnetized graphene oxide/montmorillonite adsorbent, is claimed. The Magnetized graphene oxide/montmorillonite adsorbent is prepared by (i) mixing graphene oxide into deionized water and ultrasonicating to obtain graphene oxide suspension, adding alkaline solution of ferrous chloride solution into graphene oxide suspension, stirring, dripping oxidant, continuously stirring, using nylon membrane filter, washing by water and ethanol alternately, freezing and drying, (ii) adding polyvinyl alcohol into aqueous solution, stirring and dissolving, adding montmorillonite, and ultrasonic dispersion, raising temperature, stirring, and (iii) adding polyvinyl alcohol-modified montmorillonite suspension, and passing through ultrasonication and stirring, filtering with a nylon membrane, suction filtering, washing, drying and grounding. USE - Used as magnetized graphene oxide/montmorillonite adsorbent. ADVANTAGE - The method: improve stripping efficiency of montmorillonite, and wide source of raw materials; and obtained adsorbent has high adsorption efficiency, and is simple, economical and easy to separate. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - Magnetized graphene oxide/montmorillonite adsorbent, is claimed. The Magnetized graphene oxide/montmorillonite adsorbent is prepared by (i) mixing 1-3 g graphene oxide into 100 g deionized water and ultrasonicating for 2-6 hours to obtain graphene oxide suspension, adding 100-300 ml of 0.025 mol/l alkaline solution of ferrous chloride solution into graphene oxide suspension, stirring at room temperature for 2-4 hours to react, dripping 5-100 pts. wt. oxidant, continuously stirring for 2-4 hours, using nylon membrane filter, washing by water and ethanol alternately for 3 times, freezing and drying, (ii) adding 10-100 g polyvinyl alcohol into the aqueous solution, stirring and dissolving, adding 1-10 g montmorillonite, and ultrasonic dispersion for 30-60 minutes, raising the temperature to 70-90 degrees C, stirring for 2-4 hours to obtain montmorillonite adsorbent magnetization-oxidation graphene/montmorillonite absorbing agent, and (iii) adding magnetized graphene oxide/montmorillonite adsorbent the graphene oxide obtained in step (i) to the polyvinyl alcohol-modified montmorillonite suspension prepared in the step (ii), and passing through ultrasonication and stirring for 4-8 hours, filtering with a nylon membrane, suction filtering, washing, drying and grounding.
