NOVELTY - Manufacturing a storage battery electrode, involves: dispersing graphene oxide into a solution, the solution containing alcohol or acid; heating the graphene oxide in the solution; reducing the graphene oxide; and forming an active material layer containing graphene. USE - The method is useful for manufacturing a storage battery electrode for use in a producing a storage battery used in an electronic device (claimed). ADVANTAGE - The method provides an electrode for storage battery including an active material layer with high electron conductivity; improves the dispersibility of graphene oxide with respect to a solvent; improves the electron conductivity of the graphene; and provides graphene oxide that can be easily reduced. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - INDEPENDENT CLAIMS are included for: (1) graphene comprising an alkyl group supported by an ether bond or an ester bond; (2) a storage battery comprising: a first electrode; and a second electrode, where the first electrode comprises: a current collector; and an active material layer over the current collector, the active material layer comprising graphene, an active material, and a binder, and the graphene including an alkyl group supported by an ether bond or an ester bond, where the first electrode functions as one of a positive electrode and a negative electrode, and where the second electrode functions as the other of the positive electrode and the negative electrode; and (3) an electronic device comprising the storage battery and at least one of a display panel, an operation key, a speaker, and a microphone.
