NOVELTY - An anti-corrosion functional filler comprises 9-99 wt.% graphene oxide and 1-91 wt.% terpyridine derivative. The terpyridine derivative monomer contains a benzene ring and an amino group. USE - The anti-corrosion functional filler is used in coating (claimed). ADVANTAGE - The coating has a metal ion recognition response function, simple operation, mild reaction condition, and short period, easy post-treatment, and easy control method. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is also included for preparation of the filler comprising dissolving nitro compound and 2-acetylpyridine in the first solvent at a molar ratio of 1:1-5, controlling concentration of the nitro compound in the first solvent at 0.5-15 mg/mL, adding concentrated ammonia and potassium hydroxide solution, where volume ratio of concentrated ammonia water to the first solvent is 0.5-1.5:1 and volume ratio of potassium hydroxide solution to the first solvent is 0.01-0.2:1, stirring at room temperature for 2-4 days, filtering, drying, dissolving with stannous chloride hydrate in second solvent at a molar ratio of 1:2-7, and reacting at 40-100degreesC for 6-10 hours; and dispersing graphene oxide in the second solvent, ultrasonically peeling into sheets, adding to terpyridine derivative monomer, heating, stirring at 60-100degreesC for 20-28 hours to fully react, solid-liquid separating, and drying.
