NOVELTY - Preparing zinc-manganese battery, comprises (i) dissolving 2 mol/l zinc chloride and 1 mol/l ammonium chloride in distilled water, then adding dilute acid to adjust the pH value to 1.5-5.5 to prepare high-performance zinc salt electrolyte with certain pH value, (ii) taking at least one conductive carbon materials and binders with certain mass ratio and manganese dioxide, ball milling for 15-240 minutes, and mixing to obtain anode material, and (iii) assembling using zinc salt electrolyte of step (i), anode material of step (ii), and zinc-based material as cathode material to obtain zinc-manganese battery. USE - The method is useful for preparing zinc-manganese battery. ADVANTAGE - The zinc-manganese battery: has improved battery capacity, discharge platform, and discharge capacity. The method: has low energy consumption; utilizes easily available raw materials; and is suitable for industrial production; improves conductivity of battery anode material; and promotes occurrence of oxidation-reduction reaction between manganese(IV) ion/ manganese(II) ion during charging and discharging process of the battery, and thus improves electrochemical performance of zinc-manganese battery. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - INDEPENDENT CLAIMS are also included for: (1) preparing zinc salt mixed electrolyte. The method utilizes dilute acid, and zinc salt electrolyte; and (2) preparing zinc-manganese battery anode material. The method utilizes conductive carbon materials, binder, and manganese dioxide.
