NOVELTY - Manufacture of fluorescent epoxy transparent wood involves treating the wood with a treatment solution comprising a base and a sulfite, treating the treated wood with a treatment solution comprising hydrogen peroxide, impregnating the treated wood with an epoxy resin composition comprising quantum dots, and curing the epoxy resin composition. USE - Manufacture of fluorescent epoxy transparent wood (claimed). ADVANTAGE - The method produces fluorescent epoxy transparent wood having high transparency by treating with hydrogen peroxide after treatment with base and sulfite to remove lignin from the wood and excellent tensile strength by filling and curing the epoxy resin containing quantum dots.
