NOVELTY - A silver-reduced graphene oxide-bismuth vanadate composite photocatalyst is prepared by dissolving bismuth(III) nitrate pentahydrate into nitric acid solution, uniformly stirring to obtain solution A, dissolving ammonium metavanadate into sodium hydroxide solution, uniformly stirring to obtain solution B, ultrasonically dispersing graphene oxide with water to obtain solution C, dissolving silver nitrate into ethanediol to obtain solution D, uniformly mixing solutions A and B, regulating pH value, adding solutions C and D, uniformly mixing, and hydrothermal reacting. USE - Method for preparing silver-reduced graphene oxide-bismuth vanadate composite photocatalyst (claimed). ADVANTAGE - The product has silver-bismuth vanadate micron level spherical of 5-8 mu m, increases quantum use efficiency, enhances catalytic activity, and facilitates electron transfer. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - A silver-reduced graphene oxide-bismuth vanadate composite photocatalyst is prepared by dissolving bismuth(III) nitrate pentahydrate into nitric acid solution, uniformly stirring to obtain solution A, dissolving ammonium metavanadate into sodium hydroxide solution, uniformly stirring to obtain solution B, ultrasonically dispersing graphene oxide with water to obtain solution C, dissolving silver nitrate into ethanediol to obtain solution D, uniformly mixing solutions A and B, regulating pH value to 7.0, adding solutions C and D, uniformly mixing, ultrasonically processing, transferring into hydrothermal reaction kettle for hydrothermal reaction, cooling to room temperature, collecting, generating precipitate, washing, and drying. The ratio of bismuth(III) nitrate pentahydrate and ammonium metavanadate is 1:1.
