NOVELTY - Preparation of reduced graphene oxide-silica bulk aerogel involves obtaining graphene oxide by weighing 1-3 g graphite powder, adding 120-150 ml concentrated sulfuric acid and 15-20 ml phosphoric acid, stirring, slowly adding 6-8 g potassium permanganate, heating at 55 degrees C in oil bath for 12 hours, slowly adding 80 ml ice water, adding hydrogen peroxide solution, layering, washing with ethanol, dialyzing aqueous solution to obtain dilute graphene oxide solution, diluting obtained graphene oxide dilute solution to 2-8 mg/ml, adding reducing agent, heat-preserving at 90 degrees C for 3-8 hours, replacing reduced graphene oxide hydrogel with 14% diluted aqueous ammonia, freeze-drying for 24-48 hours to obtain reduced graphene oxide aerogel, selecting suitable silicon precursor, hydrolyzing for 10-30 minutes, adjusting pH value to 6-8 using dilute aqueous ammonia to form a silica sol, impregnating reduced graphene oxide aerogel into silica sol, aging, processing surface and drying. USE - Preparation of reduced graphene oxide-silica bulk aerogel. ADVANTAGE - The method enables simple preparation of reduced graphene oxide-silica bulk aerogel with improved elasticity, specific surface area, porosity, integrity and mechanical properties.
