NOVELTY - Graphene modified powder coating comprises 65-70 wt.% epoxy resin, 5-10 wt.% curing agent, 8-13 wt.% graphene, and 7-15 wt.% filler. USE - As graphene modified powder coating. ADVANTAGE - The graphene modified powder coating improves the heat resistance and corrosion resistance of the epoxy resin powder coating by grafting the graphene component. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is included for a method for preparing graphene modified powder coating, comprising (a) preparing a silane coupling agent solution by mixing silane coupling agent, absolute ethanol and deionized water according to a mass ratio of (15-20):(60-70):(8-10), stirring until it is clear, and leaving still to obtain a silane coupling agent solution, (b) ultrasonically dispersing the graphene in deionized water to obtain a graphene dispersion, placing the graphene dispersion in a reactor, adding the silane coupling agent solution obtained in step (a), heating and stirring for 60-120 minutes, where the stirring temperature is 70-85 degrees C, and continuously stirring and cooling to room temperature to obtain a modified graphene solution, (c) adding the filler to a high-speed mixer, mixing thoroughly at 80-90 degrees C and at high speed for 30 minutes, spraying the silane coupling agent solution obtained in step (a) into the high-speed mixer by atomizing and spraying, fully mixing at high speed for 30 minutes, stopping the stirring process and cooling to room temperature to obtain a modified filler, (d) adding the modified filler obtained in step (c) to the modified graphene solution obtained in step (b) while stirring, and stirring the mixture at 50-60 degrees C for reaction 30-60 minutes, after the reaction is completed, cooling to room temperature, washing, filtering, drying, crushing, and sieving to obtain a modified composite of graphene and filler, and (e) stirring the modified compound of graphene and filler obtained in step (d), mixing with epoxy resin, adding curing agent, stirring and mixing evenly to obtain premix powder, adding the premix powder into an extruder for melt extrusion, cooling, shredding into flakes, grinding the obtained flakes, sieving, and discharging.
