NOVELTY - A paper machine clothing (PMC) fabric (10) comprises several monofilament yarns (12), where at least some of the yarns have a composition containing a mixture of thermoplastic resin (90-99.8%) and nano-graphene (0.2-10%). USE - As paper machine clothing (PMC) fabric (claimed). ADVANTAGE - The composition shows high modulus of elasticity, stiffness and abrasion resistance, less elongation, approximately same tenacity, and high thermal conductivity (preferably 75% higher) than thermoplastic resin comprised of polyethylene terephthalate (PET) alone. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is included for a method of manufacturing a paper machine clothing (PMC) fabric yarn for use in a PMC fabric, involving: melt blending a mixture of thermoplastic resin (90-99.8%) and nano-graphene (0.2-10%); spinning the mixture into a filament; and drawing the filament into a monofilament PMC fabric yarn with at least one predetermined physical property.
