NOVELTY - Preparing low-cobalt ternary anode material with high cycle life comprises (1) mixing ternary precursor, lithium source and doped metal M, and sintering to obtain sintered product, where the doped metal M is refractory metal, and (2) mixing the sintered product with graphene, and sintering at low temperature. USE - The method is useful for preparing low-cobalt ternary anode material with high cycle life. ADVANTAGE - The material reduces the crystal lattice lack, and has stable surface structure. The method ensures the safety of the material, reduces high temperature gas, improves the capacity and cycle stability of the material, and improves the performance of the battery. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is also included for low-cobalt ternary anode material with high cycle life, comprising coating the inner core and the graphene coating layer to outer side of the core, where the chemical formula of the inner core is lithium nickel cobalt manganese molybdenum oxygen complex (Li_aNi_xCo_yMn_ZM_bO_2), M is refractory metal, a is 0.98-1.20, x is 0.50-1.0, y is 0-0.10 and z is 0-0.30, and x+y+z+b is 1, as given in the specification.
