NOVELTY - Preparing graphene concentrated masterbatch involves using natural graphite, concentrated sulfuric acid, concentrated hydrochloric acid, potassium permanganate, sodium nitrate, hydrogen peroxide, ammonia, hydrazine hydrate and distilled water. An appropriate amount of concentrated sulfuric acid is poured into the reaction flask. The reaction flask is placed in ice water at the same time. A mixture of 4g of ground natural graphite powder and 2g of sodium nitrate is taken into the reaction flask and 12 g potassium permanganate is added with stirring to obtain a solid mixture. Concentrated sulfuric is used to prepare 6% sulfuric acid solution to dilute and stir the solid mixture followed by the addition of hydrogen peroxide (H2O2) to obtain a bright yellow solution which is stirred for 2 hours and centrifuged. USE - Method for preparing graphene concentrated masterbatch. ADVANTAGE - The method is simple and enables to increase the output of high purity graphene. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - Preparing graphene concentrated masterbatch involves using natural graphite, concentrated sulfuric acid, concentrated hydrochloric acid, potassium permanganate, sodium nitrate, hydrogen peroxide, ammonia, hydrazine hydrate and distilled water. The precipitate is washed repeatedly with a mixed solution of H2SO4 and hydrochloric acid (HCl), and finally washed with distilled water to adjust the pH to 7 to obtain a yellow-brown graphite oxide precipitate, and then dried to obtain the graphite oxide. Graphite oxide in an appropriate amount is added to distilled water, ultrasonically treated to obtain a uniformly dispersed graphene oxide solution with a mass concentration of 0.25-1 g/L to obtain graphene oxide solution. 25% Ammonia water with a mass concentration of 25% is added dropwise into the graphene oxide solution with a mass concentration of 0.25 g/L to 1 g/L and mixed with stirring. Hydrazine hydrate solution with a mass concentration of 0.25-2 g/L is prepared. The hydrazine hydrate solution and the graphene oxide solution are mixed uniformly. The mixed solution is placed in an oil bath and stirred. After the reaction is completed, the mixture is filtered, washed, and dried to obtain a graphene masterbatch.
